Zoe is 5 months old

So my littlest one is now a 5 month old!
She eats baby food and can almost sit up- She is very into her toys and her big sister can always make her smile-
It is really fun to see how Ella and Zoe interact- I think that they are going to have a lot of fun growing up together and causing trouble
Zoe now weighs 15 lbs! She is just the most smiley baby in the world and it looks like she is keeping those curls :)

We did find out this week that Zoe does have laryngomalacia. This is why she seems to squeak when she breaths. We took her to a specialist who put a small camera down her nose and took a look in her throat. It looks like the flaps of cartilage above her voice box are not very rigid. What happens is that when Zoe breaths in the flaps fold in and cause her some trouble breathing. Its not actually as scary as it sound- and she will grow out of it by the time she is two. The only time it will be an issue is if she gets a cold -
In the mean time- my plan is to just snuggle her and love her little squeaks-

Labor Day

Well- I'm late putting some of this stuff up- but we did do a lot over labor day- It was a great long weekend- and we even got to fit in one more week of walking to church-
After church on Sunday we took the kids to a rodeo- which happened to have some chickens there:)
I don't have many good pictures of the rodeo- mainly because all the events happened so fast. Here is a picture of one of the guys
about to jump on a bull. The whole thing started out kinda slow and ella and zoe were cold and a bit bored- but then the first guy that rode a bucking horse- was thrown off and hit the fence right in front of us. They even had to call the medics out to come get him-
They had a baby buffalo there too- and if you look above it there is a guy getting ready to jump on a bull- he looks like he is about to be a hockey goalie with all that gear on

We also went to Becker Farms in Gasport over the holiday- after feeding the goats every animal we saw Ella called a goat- but she is two so whatever right?
We did get a ton of apples- Ella helped get all the good ones at the top- and then Zoe helped carry them all back to the car with her buggy- I have such hard working kids :)

We also made Ella help push Zoe through some of the harder to push places-
We even rode a saw horse- which is just fine for us because after seeing the rodeo horses- I think we will wait till next year to try the real thing.
