Pumpkin Carving with the Millevilles

Yesterday we went on our annual hayride and pumpkin carving extravaganza with all the cousins!
It was Zoe's first time and she did great!
Emily and Ella were to cool kids sitting way in the back-

Here is Ella and Nathan driving the gator around
Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Drew came on the ride too!
We drove all around the lakes on the farm and enjoyed the fall colors with the occasional awkward joke from Aunt Nancy and sibling hayfight.
Ella and Joe were very impressed :)
Once the sun went down- the pumpkin carving mayhem began!
Here is Joe's fire-breathing dragon!
Everyone's pumpkins (mine is the moster- 3rd one in)

The girls are very excited for Halloween and dressing up- wait till they find out about the candy part!

Fall Nature Walk

Well- Its been another big week in our lives-
The warm weather is dwindling away and we are trying to be outside as much as possible enjoying it.
I might even have a bit more time to do that this fall since I made the choice to close my practice at the end of the month.
I really enjoyed being in private practice, but my philosophy really differed from the practice I was in. So we are now looking for opportunity to invest all of our energy and enthusiasm for health in. In the meantime...I get to spend lots of time with my favorite girls!
Zoe and Ella love their Zoey puppet from the Arnolds. Mush be like looking in a mirror.

Got some pumpkins this weekend. Made a pie with one- and it tastes really good (come over and try it!)
As of right now- that big pumpkin is still a blank canvas. Joe has been working late and he and Ella have not had time to carve it- but we will have pictures soon of the finished product.
Look at how good Ella can be when Mickey Mouse is on tv- hands folded and everything-
Hugs for my Zoe-
We took the wagon out yesterday for a long walk. Ella got to help push as we went along the Erie Canal. We met some ducks- Ella even quacked at them :) but they were not really into it.

Zoe can't really sit up yet in the wagon- so she sat in the cooler with her blankets- probably not the most legal way to transport your child- but she fit- and she was so cute in there!
We even stopped at the small park behind the Widewaters food stand.
They had a mickey slide- and a big scary lion that almost ate us!
So I guess it was a really crazy week- but we have had crazier ones-
On the the next adventure...

Ella's Fancy Shoe Second Birthday!

Ella's second birthday was a great time- It was complete with all the cousins, sister hugs, tutu's and fancy shoes :)

For Ella's birthday Yaya and Papa Moe came in from Michagan. They got the girls lots of presents- including some matching outfits <3!

Ella's cake was so pretty thanks to Daddy who spent hours painting and sculpting it
Our house was full- just the way we like it- lots of kids and presents and family fun!
Ella is actually sitting on a step stool that she got for reaching the sink- but you can't tell because of her new tu tu that cousin Sydney so creatively made her out of a belt
Thanks for staying up late and doing the cake for us Dad!
Zoe of course was having a great time too- She watched as all the kids played and had a huge smile to share with everyone
Ella was speachless over many of her new toys- She had a permanent smile when she got in her new wagon from Babcia
Beautiful cake
These are Joe's "fancy" shoes- We wanted to get pictures of all the fancy shoes- but we forgot-
Maybe next time-
