Can I get some better coverage?

So today ella and I are just home- chillin out and writin patient files up- well I would be writing patient files up if ella would take a longer nap-

We have tried on a bunch of hats today and played with the toys from Miss Joelle- but most of what we did today was change clothes. I swear ella needs a full body diaper. I mean really-is there any product out there and keeps the poop from going all the way up her back. And between the poop on her back and the drooly/spit-up concoction on her front-she has more wardrobe changes then Cher.

Joes bday!

So We had joes bday party yesterday. The party was a huge success !! Since his birthday fell on presidents day this year we had a theme party. Everyone dressed up like some presidential person.

Dad dressed up like Taft- a previous president known for being a big guy at 330lbs. He definitely pulled off the right look with all those pillows under his shirt.
Aunt Nancy was a candidate running for president- In true candidate fashion she even lies about inhaling!

Joe was Teddy Roosevelt and ella was one of Andrew Jackson's bear cubs- but I think she ended up playing the role of one of the first teddy bears named after Teddy Roosevelt. Joes outfit was mostly from salval- except for his hat and glasses- that would be from when we hit up the dollar store. I sad to say he may have gone off to work this morning in his linen shirt and funky pants today- guess he really liked his costume.

Here is everyone- kelly is the Constitution and I was Nancy Regan. I found a cowboy hat and shirt at salval to create my outfit. I also had cowboy boots and a 1988 bush button which kinda makes sense right?

Last but not least- mom was very creative in being Mary Todd Lincoln. She even made a hat for the occasion.

this past week

Well- it was another busy week.

Probably the biggest news is that our bathroom was fixed! there is still a hole in the kitchen ceiling- but it no longer leaks! And we also got a new floor in the bathroom. so now the whole thing doesn't match because the floor is very brown and my old decor was very purple- but whatever- we have a floor in there for the first time ever!

While the guy was fixing our bathroom - joe was still trying to pickup all the tree limbs from the storm that happened last month- he was still chainsawing away- its crazy how much stuff is out there.

Allison- ella's cousin- turned two this week- so we went to her party on Sunday! it was fun for all the kids- there were about 13 kids there! Ella didn't love the noise very much- but in the end she and alli got to wear the same pj's to bed that night- so that was special-except for the fact that ella had a crazy messy diaper just before bed- and well the new pj's were the second biggest causality of ella's stinky wrath! The biggest of course being her poor onsie :( Well- there is always next laundry cycle!
